Job Title:

Finance Compliance Specialist

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated Finance Compliance Specialist to assist in delivering our compliance program. Your main responsibility will be to help drive and complete the design and test of internal controls that ensure adequate business controls are in place and operating effectively for accurate financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the finance manager in delivering the compliance program.
  • Perform review of in-scope cycles, including documenting processes, walking through processes, and testing.
  • Ensure the testing performed is clearly documented.
  • Coordinate and test the remediation of deficiencies.
  • Build relationships with process owners and provide proactive support.
  • Educate and train the business on compliance during testing, if necessary.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in internal control and financial audit (in-house internal control/finance compliance role and/or Big 4 audit).
  • Previous experience in a global business or auditing clients operating under SOX environment is highly preferred.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to engage stakeholders and build meaningful relationships.
  • Knowledge of JDE and Concur Expense highly regarded.
  • Sound Microsoft Excel knowledge.
  • Self-motivated, diligent, and committed to quality.
  • Collaborative.
