  • The Paint Lead motivates and empowers the crew to meet deadlines, leveraging strengths and mitigating challenges.
  • Proactive identification and implementation of solutions drive quality improvement and efficiency gains.
  • Quality control measures are enforced for elements delivered to compositors, guaranteeing high standards.
  • Additional responsibilities include fast and efficient paint/roto on complex shots as time allows and interviewing/reviewing potential candidates when necessary.
Essential Requirements:
  • At least 4+ years of experience in feature film VFX work, excluding stereo conversion.
  • Familiarity with Nuke is essential.
  • Leadership qualities are vital for success in this role.
  • Effective communication skills are necessary for collaboration with artists, supervisors, and managers.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills are required for priority shot task requests.
  • A team player who takes direction well and operates under pressure with attention to detail is ideal.
  • Professional conduct is expected in dealings with Production, supervisors, and crew.
