Your role?

TheLead Roto/PaintArtistis responsibleformakingsurethe paint/rototeamdeliversalltherequestedelementsinatimelyfashionandacts asliaisonbetween Productionandthecrew.

What will you be doing?

  • Assiststhe Producer, CG Supervisors & Production Managers withbiddingandscheduling

  • AttendsDailies andfollowsupwithteamregardingtheir notes,fixes,etc.

  • AttendsProductionmeetings

  • Assignsshotstoappropriateartists

  • Providescleardirectionandprioritiestocrew

  • Monitorsshotandsequenceprogress

  • Motivates andempowerscrewtomeetdeadlines

  • Identifiesproblems andeffectivelyimplementssolutions

  • Qualitycontrolonelements delivered tocompositors

  • Fastandefficient paint/rotooncomplexshotsas needed ortimeallows

  • Interviewsandreviewspotentialcandidates when required.

  • Mentors lessexperienced artists

To be a contributing member of this team, you will have a mix of these skills:
