We are growing and always on the lookout for high calibre individuals to join our store teams.
The Inspirations Paint Store at Penrith is looking for an enthusiastic full time Paint Sales Assistant, to work Monday to Friday.Relevant personal experience in home improvement projects or within the paint or hardware industries is an advantage.The position is available for immediate start and will include ongoing industry leading training, Award wages, and a uniform.
Business hours are 6:30am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday and 8:00am to 2:00pm Saturday.Responsibilities include:Providing an exceptional customer experience to our retail and trade customersTinting & mixing paintFollowing the "Inspirations Way"Providing exceptional customer service and product knowledge in paint and protective coatings, while assisting with sales, stock control, and merchandisingAssisting with deliveries as requiredPracticing safe manual handlingStore presentation, stock management, housekeepingEnsuring Workplace Health & Safety requirements are metThis role involves frequent heavy lifting over 23kgsExperience / Attributes:Demonstrated customer service with a personalized customer focusWell presented in appearance and communicationAble to contribute and work in a teamProven sales experience and knowledge of paint and related productsApproachable, confident, energetic, with a pleasant dispositionAttention to detail, initiative, and ability to learn new systemsAbility to load/unload vehicles safelyHonest, reliable, punctualCurrent valid driver's license - must be able to drive a manual vehicleIf you are an enthusiastic and motivated team player with a can-do attitude, we would like to hear from you.Job InsightsSalary: (Include expected salary)Number of applicants, Skills match, and other insights are available upon application.Your application will include questions about customer service experience, right to work in Australia, OH&S/WHS knowledge, POS software experience, maximum lift weight, years of experience, expected salary, and paint industry experience.Inspirations Paint is Australia's largest network of paint stores, with over 130 stores nationwide.
We do not manufacture paint but supply professional painters and DIY customers.
Over 100 stores are franchisees, independently operated by store owners.
The Franchisor is Inspirations Paint Stores Pty Ltd.Annually, we sell over 25 million liters of paint, representing 1-in-every-5 liters sold in Australia, painting every fifth building with our product.
