We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Community Support Worker to join our team in the North Metropolitan area of Perth. The successful candidate will provide personal care and everyday support that empowers clients to live safely and independently.

About the Role

The role involves providing showering, dressing, grooming, and continence support to clients in a way that maintains their dignity and comfort. You will also assist with medication management, domestic duties, light cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and keeping living spaces safe and welcoming.

As a Community Support Worker, you will be a friendly face for our clients, providing social support and companionship. This may include driving clients to shops, appointments, or community activities. You will also follow personalized care plans to ensure each client's needs and preferences are met with consistency and care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care services that maintain clients' dignity and comfort
  • Assist with medication management and administer medications as required
  • Support clients with daily living tasks, including domestic duties, light cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
  • Drive clients to appointments, shops, or community activities
  • Follow personalized care plans to meet clients' needs and preferences
Key Requirements
  • Previous experience in aged care or community care, including personal care
  • Certificate III in Aged Care (or equivalent)
  • A current Australian driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
  • A genuine passion for supporting older people to live independently in their own homes
  • Excellent communication skills and a caring, patient nature
