About the Role


As a Strategic Commercialisation Lead at the University of South Australia, you will play a critical role in driving the commercialisation of research and development. Reporting to the Director: Enterprise Partnerships, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to translate UniSA's valuable technology into successful business outcomes. This will involve overseeing the creation, negotiation, and delivery of opportunities for transactions based on UniSA's IP, including licences, spinouts, and start-up companies.

Key responsibilities will include working closely with the Chair: UniSA Ventures and leading the operation of the UniSA Ventures entity, a wholly owned subsidiary of UniSA. You will also collaborate with the Deputy Vice Chancellor: Research & Enterprise and Director: Enterprise Partnerships to build and maintain strong relationships internally with UniSA researchers and externally with industry partners, government agencies, and investors to secure research translation opportunities.
