The Job Opportunity
  • Maintain records and systems for trainees in aXcelerate and track their progression;
  • Administrate traineeship life cycle from enrolment, unit completions, funding applications and when funding is received;
  • Attend meetings as required via Teams or in person;
  • Provide regular reporting on traineeship progression;
  • Work with the Operations Scheduler to schedule trainee training as needed;
  • Support compliance per ASQA and DESBT/DTET Standards;
  • Maintain partnerships with government, educational and other organisations to support training programs and initiatives;
  • Stay up-to-date with government funded programs and initiatives; and
  • Ensure all administration processes and record-keeping obligations are delivered.
About You

We seek a highly organised individual who can efficiently manage trainees across various clients. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with attention to detail second to none.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Strong communication, interpersonal skills and high attention to detail are essential;
  • Outstanding time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks are required;
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office programmes including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word are necessary; and
  • Strong networking skills and ability to build positive relationships are critical.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a similar position (ideally managing government funded traineeships);
  • Understanding and knowledge of compliance requirements with ASQA and DESBT/DTET;
  • Understanding of compliance requirements under Coal Mining and WHS legislation; and
  • Prior experience with training system databases.
