Opportunity

Join Talent International in a long-term day rate contract for a large federal agency's enterprise-wide Technology Uplift program. This multi-stream program aims to upgrade end-user device management, enterprise service management software, analytics tools, and desktop application integration.

  • Up to $1000 per day, including superannuation
  • Flexible hybrid work model
  • 12-month initial term, with options to extend for a further 12 months

Role

As a Technical Business Analyst, you will facilitate workshops with business areas, technology SMEs, and vendors to define and prioritise requirements. You will perform technical analysis to understand business needs and translate them into system requirements.

  • Present complex technical requirements in simple, easy-to-understand terms to the business
  • Record BA artefacts, including user stories, requirements, dependencies, risks, scope, business process modelling, data discovery, and sequence diagrams
  • Assist and work with the Project Manager to perform peer and quality reviews, and support team members
  • Contribute to the Business Analysis Community of Practice

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience of at least 5 years in a similar role, performing business analysis activities, including workshop facilitation
  • Demonstrated experience in effectively communicating with technical SMEs to define and obtain an understanding of business needs, technical constraints, and technical concepts
  • Demonstrated experience in managing multiple business stakeholders
  • Proven experience in a role relating to cloud platforms, including delivery of new cloud-based services
  • Experience working in Government or large and complex corporates
  • Agile and waterfall project methodologies
