Senior Technical Business Analyst

We are seeking a skilled Technical Business Analyst to join our team at Suncorp Group. As a Technical Business Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of our Claims Platform, working closely with stakeholders to gather, validate, and document business requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Work within a squad as part of the broader Claims Platform, building strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Document current and future state processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and using information gathering techniques to proactively discover requirements.
- Collaborate with delivery teams and business stakeholders to gather, validate, and document business requirements, developing recommendations and solutions that meet business and customer needs.
- Raise and support mitigation and resolution of risks and issues using established tools and frameworks.
- Create detailed user stories in JIRA to support delivery.
- Work closely with squad/project members, including Platform Delivery leads, Scrum Master, architects, developers, tech leads, and test analysts to identify, capture, plan, and deliver changes.
- Mentor/train team members, participate, and contribute to business analyst chapter and/or forums, providing insights and thought leadership.
- Recent experience with Guidewire Claimcenter.
- Minimum 5 years technical business analysis experience in a project/delivery-oriented role from a large organization.
- Minimum 3 years' Agile, Lean, and waterfall experience, including knowledge of Agile practices, workshops, and Agile ceremonies facilitation.
- Ability to translate and understand business and technical requirements, providing appropriate alternatives and solutions.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, relationship management, and influencing skills, including experience in dealing with various stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
- Strong team player with a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and desire to make a difference.
- Ability to manage multiple complex initiatives with competing deadlines.
