About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Trades Assistant to join our team at Mount Arthur South Mine.

This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills and experience in a high-performing, supportive crew.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and maintaining heavy machinery is a critical task in this role.
  • You will be responsible for transporting equipment and materials across site.
  • Supporting trades with maintenance tasks on heavy machinery is also essential.
  • Operating support equipment, including IT Loaders, EWPs, and service vehicles, is required.
  • Contributing to shutdown preparation, staging, and clean-up is crucial for maintaining a safe work environment.
  • General housekeeping and trade support across the maintenance area are also essential duties.
About You
  • We are looking for a reliable, proactive, and safety-focused individual who has experience working around large mobile plant and heavy equipment.
  • High-pressure washing and detailing of machinery requires attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Able to work safely in various weather conditions, including mud, heat, and dust, is essential.
  • Comfortable using cleaning equipment and confident navigating a large mining site.
  • A strong team player with a positive attitude and willingness to assist tradespeople.
