Senior Associate Adviser Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Associate Adviser to join our team at Shadforth, a leading Australian Wealth Management business. In this influential role, you will play a critical part in managing the advice needs of our existing clients and supporting our growth journey through new clients.

About the Opportunity

As a Senior Associate Adviser, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality personal wealth management advice to clients, identifying opportunities for growth, and developing strong relationships with our team members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To take ownership of client advice and ensure timely delivery of recommendations in a profitable manner.
  • To provide exceptional client service, ensuring that clients are informed of their options and understand any recommendations made to them.
  • To identify opportunities for additional advice and deliver this advice to clients on a timely basis.
  • To maintain minimum Service Standards, addressing client issues within approved timeframes and providing backup support for other Senior Associate Advisers when needed.
  • To mentor and train support staff as a senior peer and allocate workload accordingly.
Requirements
  • A proven track record in an Associate Adviser or Paraplanner role.
  • Solid understanding of tax, superannuation, retirement income streams, investments, and social security.
  • Sound experience in XPLAN financial planning software.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to use initiative and judgement in problem-solving solutions.
  • Passion for mentoring and developing people.
  • New business skills and existing client referral networks.
  • Accountable for targets aligned with key business drivers.
  • Real drive/passion to become a Private Wealth Adviser.
  • Tertiary qualification in Financial Planning, Business, or equivalent.
  • DFP qualified.
  • FASEA Qualified or working towards this.
