Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Senior Accountant to join our team at Recruitment Expert in South Melbourne. As Chief Financial Services Manager, you will be responsible for providing exceptional accounting support, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and delivering high-quality client service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Support: Assist in managing a portfolio of clients by providing essential accounting, taxation, and advisory services.
  • Financial Analysis: Perform financial analysis, tax planning, and business consulting to identify opportunities for optimisation and growth.
  • Compliance: Prepare financial statements, tax returns, and other compliance documents, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulations.
  • Client Advisory: Support senior accountants in serving as trusted advisors to clients, understanding their unique financial goals and challenges, and tailoring strategies to meet their needs.
  • Regulatory Updates: Stay informed on changes in tax laws, regulations, and industry trends to provide accurate and up-to-date advice to clients.
  • Business Development: Assist in business development efforts by expanding services within existing client relationships and supporting new client acquisition.
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, senior accountants, and other stakeholders to foster long-term partnerships and drive client satisfaction.
  • Professional Development: Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your professional skills and knowledge.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Experience in accounting, taxation, and advisory services.
  • Knowledge of Australian taxation laws, regulations, and accounting standards.
  • Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with clients and team members.
  • Client-centric mindset with a passion for delivering high-quality service.
