The Role
  • Lead a diverse team and shape initiatives, systems and processes that meet council and community expectations.
  • Oversee customer communications and information management, workplace health and safety, internal audit, risk, and emergency management, community transport and connection initiatives, and disability access & inclusion plan (DAIP).
About You
  • You will have relevant tertiary qualifications in community, workplace health and safety, customer communications and services, information management, and/or business administration or demonstrated equivalent experience.
  • You will have a strong background in workplace health and safety (WHS), internal audit, risk management, customer service, information management, and working with volunteers and vulnerable communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to drive organisational success and improve community outcomes.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to a diverse team of professionals to achieve organisational goals.
  • Maintain and enhance relationships with key stakeholders, including community groups, partners, and government agencies.

Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in community, workplace health and safety, customer communications and services, information management, and/or business administration.
  • Demonstrated equivalent experience and skills in workplace health and safety, internal audit, risk management, customer service, information management, and working with volunteers and vulnerable communities.
