Job Overview

The Coordinator Engineering Design and Transport is a leadership position that requires strong skills to head a multi-disciplinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and inspiring the team to deliver innovative and practical design solutions for roads and drainage systems.

This role involves strategic planning, overseeing the execution of capital works and operational programs, and championing exceptional customer service by supporting the team in resolving road and drainage enquiries with professionalism and care.

The ideal candidate will have experience in project and operational management, including experience in preparing and managing substantial budgets. A knowledge of external road funding such as grants is also essential.

The Coordinator must have extensive experience in the latest road and drainage design requirements in line with Austroads and Main Roads WA, as well as proven written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Well-developed analytical capabilities are also required to ensure accurate and concise engineering advice is provided and legislation is interpreted correctly.

Requirements:
  • Current driver's licence
  • Bachelors degree or higher qualification in Civil Engineering
  • Current National Police Clearance (less than three months old)
