Injury Rehabilitation Specialist

As a rehabilitation consultant, you will play a pivotal role in the recovery and rehabilitation of individuals who have experienced injury, illness, or disability.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop tailored rehabilitation plans that focus on a holistic approach to rehabilitation.
- Conduct assessments including functional capacity evaluations, workplace assessments, ergonomic assessments, and activities of daily living assessments (ADLS).
- Utilise critical thinking and forward planning skills to identify potential return-to-work pathways in line with expected recovery milestones.
- Apply problem-solving skills, clinical expertise, and knowledge of injury management to perform assessments and facilitate the return to work of claimants.
- Collaborate closely with various stakeholders, including clients, their families, insurance companies, employers, and other healthcare professionals to evaluate physical, psychological, and social factors.
- Present case information to stakeholders, providing credible recommendations and solutions to drive desired outcomes.
About You:
- A tertiary qualification in physiotherapy, occupational therapy, or exercise physiology with current registration and membership credentials.
- Prior experience in occupational rehabilitation (minimum 12 months).
- Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and industry standards.
- Full working rights in Australia.
- Return-to-work experience or certification desirable.
- Current driver's license and vehicle.
