**Job Overview**

 

As a key member of our operations team, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced plant operator to join our dynamic workforce. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to take on new challenges and contribute to the success of our organization.

 

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating plant equipment in a safe and efficient manner, achieving production targets, and reporting any faults or defects to the supervisor. They will also be expected to maintain a clean and safe working environment and actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

 

We are looking for someone with 5+ years of experience in operating heavy equipment, such as rollers, excavators, and skid-steer loaders. A current driver's license and commitment to safety in the workplace are essential. Additionally, a construction white card and ability to live away from home are preferred.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Carry out pre-start checks to ensure equipment is safe to operate.
  • Operate plant equipment efficiently and effectively to achieve production targets.
  • Report any faults or defects to the supervisor.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
