**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled operator to join our team at Corangamite Shire Council.

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining plant in an efficient and safe manner on construction and maintenance jobs. This includes:

  • Maintaining and monitoring traffic control and safety signing on the job as required.
  • Undertaking routine machine checks with regard to safe legal operation, fluid levels and lubrication points.
  • Maintaining accurate time sheets and work program documentation.

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A Certificate of competency for various plant such as front-end loader, backhoe, bobcat and/or excavator.
  • A Victorian Driver License, Construction Induction Card and recent National Police Check, or ability to obtain prior to commencement.
  • Experience in civil construction, maintenance or concreting works is highly desirable.

**Responsibilities:**
