Job Opportunity: HSEQ Professional

We are seeking an experienced HSEQ professional to provide expert support for refurbishment projects on Defence sites.

  • Assist in the preparation and implementation of HSEQ policies, procedures, and documentation
  • Couch, advise, and educate site personnel on legislative requirements, company standards, and safe working practices
  • Administer incident and hazard reporting processes, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
  • Conduct thorough HSEQ site inspections and audits, identifying areas for improvement
  • Coach site teams on effective delivery of pre-start meetings and toolbox talks, promoting a culture of safety
  • Maintain the company's Integrated Management System to an accredited level, ensuring consistency and excellence

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience in communicating effectively with direct workforce and implementing safe methods of work
  • Reviewing SWMS, JHA's, and conducting audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • A strong understanding of Quality Management principles and processes
  • Prior experience leading HSEQ initiatives in construction, demonstrating expertise and leadership
  • Flexibility to travel to various locations across SNSW, meeting project demands
