This position offers the chance to work as a skilled Heavy Diesel Mechanic with our organization, providing quality technical support and diagnostic services to customers in the field.
- Flexible roster: 9 day fortnight available
We are seeking an experienced mechanic to join our Field Service team based out of our Somerton branch. Reporting to the Branch Coordinator, this role will involve providing onsite technical support on Hitachi earthmoving equipment including diagnostics, repair and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities- Providing exceptional customer service to our customers
- Conducting your work in compliance with all quality and safety standards and procedures
- Ensuring your work sites are kept tidy and all paperwork is up-to-date
- Relevant Trade Qualification - Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology or equivalent discipline (Diesel Mechanic)
- Earthmoving equipment experience highly regarded
- Current driver's license
- Ability to work autonomously and proactively solve technical issues
- Excellent interpersonal, communication skills and customer service etiquette
- Maintained Tool of Trade Vehicle
- Flexible Working Roster: 9 day fortnight roster available
