
Master Diesel Technician

We are seeking a skilled and experienced diesel mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical issues, and ensuring all work is completed efficiently and accurately.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough diagnoses and repairs on diesel engines, systems, and components in various vehicles and equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, filter replacements, and brake inspections, to ensure optimal performance.
- Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot and identify complex mechanical issues, ensuring timely and precise resolutions.
- Ensure all work is completed efficiently, accurately, and in strict compliance with safety standards, guaranteeing the utmost safety for everyone involved.
- Skilfully communicate with team members and customers to provide regular updates on repairs and maintenance progress, enhancing the overall customer experience.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of work performed and parts used, supporting effective documentation and reporting.
Requirements:
- Must have proven and extensive experience as a diesel mechanic or technician, proficient in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines and related systems.
- Strong mechanical aptitude, effective troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential.
- Preferred qualifications include relevant certifications in diesel mechanics, previous experience with heavy-duty equipment, and knowledge of electrical systems and computerized diagnostics.
