Heavy Vehicle Diesel Technician Role

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Vehicle Diesel Technician to join our Repairs & Service Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repairs, and servicing of road transport equipment.

This role is ideal for an individual with experience working on heavy diesel vehicles and a strong passion for delivering high-quality work. As a Heavy Vehicle Diesel Technician, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the safety and efficiency of our fleet.

About the Role:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake pad replacements, and tire rotations.
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical issues with diesel engines, brakes, and fuel systems.
  • Read and interpret technical manuals and schematics to ensure accurate diagnoses and repairs.
  • Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to all relevant health and safety protocols.
  • Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure seamless workflow.

Requirements:

  • Hold unrestricted Australian working rights.
  • Demonstrate experience working on heavy diesel vehicles.
  • Possess a Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or a Certificate III in Automotive Diesel Engine Technology.
