Job Title: Environmental Health and Safety Lead

A talented professional is sought to lead the Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of employees, customers, and the general public.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate EHS activities to minimize risk and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Develop and implement effective EHS policies, procedures, and training programs
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of safety and sustainability
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and regulatory bodies
  • Monitor and report on EHS performance metrics, identifying trends and areas for improvement
  • Provide guidance and support to employees on EHS matters
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, applying knowledge to improve EHS outcomes

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field
  • Relevant EHS experience in a professional setting
  • Proven track record of implementing effective EHS initiatives and improving safety outcomes
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Fluency in English language
