Safety and Quality Lead

About the Role

This is a key position within our organisation where you will champion safety, health, environment, and quality across various projects nationally.

You must be an Australian Citizen to apply due to Defence clearance requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead the implementation of SHEQ Management Plans across major contracts
  2. Drive compliance with legislation, standards, and best practices
  3. Due diligence to ensure the projects are set up for success
  4. Build sound relationships to effectively manage subcontractors
  5. Facilitate risk workshops and safety training that truly engage teams
  6. Investigate incidents and deliver actionable insights
  7. Champion mental and physical wellbeing programs
  8. Mentor SHEQ Advisors and collaborate with delivery teams, regulators and clients
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in WHS, Environment or Quality
  • ICAM investigation training (preferred)
  • Lead auditor training (preferred)
  • Current drivers licence and construction white card
  • Strong experience in industrial safety, ideally within utilities or infrastructure
