Clinical Youth Health Specialist

We are seeking an experienced clinician to join our team as a Clinical Youth Health Specialist in a school-based setting in the Barkly Region. This is an ongoing vacancy, and the successful applicant will be required to work in a remote location.
The Clinical Youth Health Specialist will be responsible for providing quality school-based youth health services, incorporating a Health Promotion philosophy and principles. This includes maintaining, facilitating, and promoting physical, emotional, and social health of young people. The successful applicant must hold a current recognised vaccine provider certificate.
The Barkly region offers a unique opportunity to work in a beautiful desert landscape. In Tennant Creek, you can enjoy swimming, canoeing, or kayaking on Lake Maryanne, or simply take in the scenic views. As a Clinical Youth Health Specialist, you will be an outreach-based worker, requiring remote travel to fulfill the requirements of the position.
We offer a competitive remuneration package of $140,738 - $151,076 per annum, plus excellent benefits. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the health and wellbeing of young people in the region.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in clinical work, with experience working with school communities. They will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work effectively in a remote location. A current recognised vaccine provider certificate is essential for this role.
