Men's Clinic Manager

The Men's Clinic Manager is a key position within Anyinginyi Health's Health Services Section, responsible for leading a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive primary health care to Aboriginal men in the Barkly region.
This role requires strong relationships with male clients, effective collaboration with colleagues, and a holistic approach to overall good health and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate regular meetings with Men's Health Nurses and staff across all Anyinginyi Health clinics to ensure good communication and a positive team dynamic.
- Develop and implement culturally appropriate activities to promote male engagement with health services.
- Work with other health services and organisations to provide high-quality health care to male clients.
- Coordinate access to healthcare for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander male clients across the Barkly Region communities.
- Ensure appropriate rostering of staff and client workflow management.
- Assist GPs and other clinical staff as required, including visiting health professionals and specialists.
- Ensure data, reporting, and compliance obligations for services are met.
- Implement relevant policies and procedures to ensure clinical and legal compliance.
- Effectively manage complaints from stakeholders.
- Work in accordance with Anyinginyi Health's WHS policy and ensure all staff under their control carry out their roles and responsibilities accordingly.
To be considered for this position, you must possess current registration as either an Aboriginal Health Practitioner or Registered Nurse, and have an evidenced understanding of the Primary Health Care system and key issues relevant to closing the gap in health outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
Demonstrated experience providing a broad range of clinical interventions and qualifications to provide vaccinations within the Northern Territory are essential.
Knowledge of quality and accreditation, including RACGP accreditation processes and requirements for primary health care services, is also required.
Previous experience working with an Aboriginal organisation or communities is highly regarded, but not essential, provided you can demonstrate a clear understanding of the issues pertaining to Aboriginal Primary Health Care and the social determinants of health in our surrounding communities.
A National Police Clearance and Ochre Card (NT Working with Children's) card obtainment is a requirement prior to commencement in this role.
