Insurance Claim Manager

The role of a Claims Consultant involves managing life insurance claims from start to finish, providing a seamless experience for customers.
You will be responsible for independently managing a portfolio of Retail Income Protection insurance claims end-to-end, assessing and analysing claims to calculate and finalise payments.
Engagement with external treating doctors, rehabilitation consultants, medical specialists and legal experts is required to deliver timely outcomes for customers. Exceptional customer service skills are also necessary in accordance with philosophy, policy and claims procedures.
To succeed in this role, strong analytical, problem-solving and time-management skills are essential, along with excellent communication and empathy to support customers during challenging times. Experience in life insurance claims management, particularly in Group policy IP and/or TPD claims, is highly desirable.

Requirements:

- Experience in life insurance claims management
- Desirable: experience in Group policy IP and/or TPD claims
