Overview

Role: Insurance Claims & Recoveries Officer at Linfox. Based at our Global Head Office in Essendon Fields. Reporting to the Insurance Claims Manager. You will manage end-to-end processes of insurance claims from initial lodgement through to settlement, including sourcing claim recovery where applicable and providing claim advice to business partners. Primary claim types are approximately 90% motor, with the remaining 10% Marine (customer goods), Public Liability or Property Damage.

Responsibilities
  • Accurate, timely, and proactive actioning, upload and management of claims and related insurance tasks
  • Management of end-to-end claims within the portfolio to efficient and successful completion
  • Communicate and coordinate effectively between stakeholders, business partners, and third parties
  • Provide insurance and claim advice and support to stakeholders and business partners
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in Motor Vehicle Claims, Claim Recoveries, or Insurance Industry
  • Moderate to advanced skills with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; SAP experience highly regarded
  • Strong customer service focus with ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Sound written communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work with internal and external stakeholders
  • Results-oriented and able to work under pressure
