Senior Occupational Therapist Opportunity

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Occupational Therapist to join our team in Palmerston. As a key member of our clinical leadership team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-level occupational therapy services, promoting quality improvement, governance, and staff supervision within the Sub Acute Care – Rehabilitation stream.

About the Role:

  • Deliver high-quality occupational therapy services: With extensive post-graduate experience, you will provide expert care to patients, focusing on their unique needs and goals.
  • Culturally sensitive practice: You will develop a deep understanding of Aboriginal culture and work effectively with patients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Leadership and mentoring: You will exercise strong leadership skills, supporting and supervising staff and students to achieve exceptional outcomes.
  • Caseload management: You will effectively manage a complex caseload, utilizing your exceptional organisational skills to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Professional development: You will commit to ongoing learning and professional growth, staying up-to-date with the latest best practices and research.
