Job Title: Assistant Restaurant Manager

">About the Role">
  • Lead and direct all facets of daily operations;
  • Assist with inventory management, including food, beverage, and merchandise;
  • Ensure financial and operational efficiency while prioritizing guest satisfaction;
  • Oversee the hiring, training, and development of new staff members;
  • Counsel existing staff and managers to promote team success;
  • Participate in weekly rostering and time-management for hourly team members;
  • Maintain a professional restaurant image, including cleanliness, uniforms, and appearance standards;
  • Uphold restaurant safety, sanitation, and security standards at all times;
  • Ensure building, equipment, furniture, and fixtures are well-maintained;
  • Foster engagement and commitment to local communities; and
  • Maintain a safe and harassment-free environment.
">Required Skills and Qualifications">
  • At least 2 years' experience in management roles in high-volume environments (Fast Casual dining experience preferred);
  • Excellent leadership and motivational skills;
  • Strong problem resolution and communication skills;
  • Attention to detail and analytical skills;
  • Ability to inspire cooperation and teamwork through self-confidence and enthusiasm;
  • Proficient in basic computer technology (POS system, rostering system, Microsoft Office programs etc.);
  • Strong commitment to serving others in the community;
  • Acts with integrity and treats others with respect;
  • Familiar with local liquor licensing laws;
  • Hold a valid RSA; and
  • Australian resident or current work visa holder.
