Leadership Role in Operations and Maintenance

We are seeking a skilled leader to join our team as an Operations and Maintenance Supervisor.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in asset operations and maintenance, with experience in leading teams and implementing strategies for equipment management.

As part of our Power Station Team, the supervisor will be responsible for ensuring the safe and reliable operation of our plant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team to operate and maintain the plant in a safe and reliable manner.
  • Implement, review, and execute equipment strategies, O&M plans, and support inventory optimisation.
  • Act as an integral part of the Power Station Team.
  • Manage and work with contractors.
  • Provide standby services outside of normal working hours.

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A strong work ethic and excellent safety-first problem-solving mindset.
  • Solid communication skills (electronic and verbal) with experience working in a multidisciplined team.
  • Exceptional people leadership to drive a positive and inclusive workplace culture as a team leader.
  • Mechanical or Electrical Trade level qualifications with considerable post-trade and/or equivalent power station or similar external heavy industry experience.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving, fault-finding skills, and experience.
  • Willingness to perform standby and call-in duties.
  • Experience with computerised enterprise Management of Work Systems (SAP preferred).
  • Computers and MS Office software experience.
  • Proven experience in maintenance planning and scheduling in the SAP environment.
  • Project Management experience.
  • Management of Change experience.
  • Continuous improvement skills and experience.
  • Diploma in Engineering - similar qualification, or greater.
  • Experience with Permit to Work systems.
