Supporting Patient Recovery

**Job Summary
The Therapy Aide plays a crucial role in patient care by providing clinical support tasks under the supervision of an allied Health Professional.
This involves working collaboratively with patients and multidisciplinary teams across units within a High Security Inpatient Service to achieve longer-term goals of independent community functioning.
**Key Responsibilities
To succeed, you will need:
- Effective communication skills to work with involuntary patients and team members.
- Strong self-management skills, including time management and task prioritization.
- Ability to participate in recovery-focused practices and encourage patient progress towards meeting their own life goals.
**Additional Requirements:** Vaccination against certain vaccine-preventable diseases is mandatory.
