The Role:

We seek an exceptional Senior Therapist Team Leader to join our dedicated Children's Therapy team on a Fixed-Term contract until January 2026. As a key member of the leadership team, you will provide clinical leadership to our team of therapists and the Allied Health team, ensuring high-quality services that integrate developmental and therapeutic needs of children.

Your focus will be on advancing evidence-based care through a transdisciplinary model, elevating staff culture to yield positive client outcomes and high-performing teams. This role requires a proactive approach, a positive attitude, and excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and families from diverse backgrounds.

About You:

  • You have a minimum of 3 years' experience working with children as a Speech Pathologist, Psychologist, or Occupational Therapist.
  • Experience as a Key Worker within Early Childhood Intervention is highly advantageous but not mandatory.
  • You possess highly developed skills in communication, problem-solving, conflict resolution, and negotiation.
  • You have experience in supervising and mentoring Allied Health professionals.
  • You are an effective team player with the ability to develop rapport and positive working relationships.
  • You can organise, analyse, and utilise service provision, performance, and evaluation data.
  • You have the ability to develop rapport and positive working relationships with stakeholders and families from diverse social and cultural backgrounds.
  • You have experience in managing a team budget, including revenue and expenses, or a willingness to learn how.

  • A competitive annual package up to $127,650 (including 11% Superannuation) + travel reimbursement.
  • Increase your take-home pay with salary packaging benefits up to $18,550 per annum.
  • A Fixed-Term Full Time or Part Time position available (minimum 0.8 FTE).
  • Opportunity to move into an ongoing senior clinician role at the end of the fixed-term contract.
  • A supportive environment to run your own ship and make informed decisions on behalf of your team.
  • Therapy sessions vary between a client's home, in-clinic, or community settings with children aged 0-10 years.
  • Support includes team meetings, discipline-specific meetings, transdisciplinary meetings, peer mentoring, and supervision.
  • Available professional development (PD) budget and 5 days PD leave (pro-rata).
  • Admin support with full control over your work schedule.
  • We participate in the Portable Long Service Scheme, allowing you to bring your long service leave accrual from your current eligible employer.
  • The role is based in Williamstown, providing a convenient location for those living in the area.

Salary Estimate: The estimated annual salary for this role is $127,650, considering the provided compensation package and location.
