We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our dedicated Children's Therapy team as a Team Manager on a Fixed-Term contract until January 2026. Reporting to the Program Manager - Children's Therapy Services, you will provide clinical leadership to our team of therapists and more broadly to the whole Allied Health team.

About the Role

This is a Fixed-Term position that offers a unique opportunity to advance evidence-based care through a transdisciplinary model. As an active and key member of the Children's Therapy leadership team, you will elevate staff culture to yield positive client outcomes and high-performing teams.

  • Provide clinical leadership to our team of therapists
  • Integrate the developmental and therapeutic needs of children to increase their meaningful participation in daily life
  • Advance evidence-based care through a transdisciplinary model

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience working with children as a Speech Pathologist, Psychologist or Occupational Therapist
  • Experience as a Key Worker within Early Childhood Intervention also highly advantageous but not mandatory
  • Demonstrated highly developed skills in communication, problem-solving, conflict resolution, and negotiation
  • Experience in the supervision and mentorship of Allied Health professionals
  • A proven track record in being a team player, with an ability to develop rapport and positive working relationships
  • An ability to organise, analyse, and utilise service provision, performance, and evaluation data
  • Ability to develop rapport and positive working relationships with stakeholders and families from a broad range of social and cultural backgrounds
  • Experience in managing and taking accountability for a team budget including revenue and expenses (or a willingness to learn how)

We achieve this through our quality education, care, and therapy services for children, our support programs for families, and our registered training organisation.

Estimated Salary: $127,650 per annum

This salary includes a competitive annual package (including 11% Superannuation) and travel reimbursement. Additionally, you can increase your take-home pay with salary packaging benefits up to $18,550 p.a. The location of the position is in Williamstown.
