Senior Hydrogeologist

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Hydrogeologist to join our team in Melbourne, Australia. As a Senior Hydrogeologist, you will be responsible for leading hydrogeological investigations and assessments, site investigation planning and coordination, and providing specialist hydrogeological advice to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead hydrogeological investigations and assessments to inform the design of major infrastructure projects
- Develop and implement site investigation plans and coordinate with project teams
- Analyze and interpret hydrogeological data to inform project decisions
- Prepare technical reports and presentations for clients
- Provide specialist hydrogeological advice to clients and project teams
- Mentor junior hydrogeologists and foster a culture of continuous learning
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will have a strong background in hydrogeology, with a minimum of 5-12 years of experience in a similar role. You will also bring:
- A proven track record of leading successful hydrogeological projects
- A strong commitment to safety, health, and environmental quality (SHEQ) and mental health
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills
- Experience with industry software packages, such as GIS and AQTESOLV, and coding skills (e.g. Python)
