Facilities Management Specialist Job

This role involves working as part of a team to ensure the smooth operation of facilities management services. You will assist in providing customer-related support and service to enable onsite delivery staff to effectively deliver facility management services.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in facilities administration/coordination roles with exposure to supervising in-house and/or external contracted services in the delivery of facilities management, repairs, and maintenance work.

Key responsibilities include overseeing and guiding contractors delivering a range of property and facilities services, assessing and allocating work received through various sources, performing facilities and asset management services, and maintaining strong relationships with key site stakeholders and client branch management.

  • Monitor and utilize asset management and facilities work order management systems for a range of activities including maintaining database records, logging and tracking jobs, and Work Order/Purchase Order management.
  • Actively participate in emergency, safety, and business continuity planning and implementation activities, including emergency response team (ERT) duties and Incident Management.
