Insurance Professional Indemnity Specialist

This role involves working with experienced colleagues on complex litigation matters.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in professional indemnity and medical negligence law, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- We are seeking a skilled lawyer or associate to join our insurance team in Sydney.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing a high case load, preparing court documents, communicating with clients, and staying up-to-date with industry regulations and emerging trends.

About the Role:- File management including meeting deadlines and managing documents;
- Reviewing evidence and preparing advices on indemnity, liability and quantum;
- Communicating with clients both in writing and verbally;
- Identifying issues, briefing experts and analysing opinion;
- Preparing court documents, including statements of evidence;
- Drafting correspondence and communicating with other practitioners;
- Preparing for, managing online processes and appearing in Court;
- Briefing and liaising with counsel; and
- Staying updated on industry regulations, case law, and emerging trends in professional indemnity and medical negligence law.
