About this role

As a seasoned Product Manager, you will take ownership of the end-to-end product management of medical indemnity insurance products. This involves collaborating with stakeholders to ensure alignment in coverage and direction across the organization.

You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing existing and new products. This includes reviewing opportunities for new products, recommending changes to existing ones, and ensuring continuous improvement.

This role requires strong change management experience, excellent stakeholder and relationship management skills, and the ability to develop business cases supporting new product concepts incorporating member/customer perspective.

The ideal candidate will have previous demonstrated experience in insurance or a related field in a technical role such as underwriting, broking, product or legal. Proven success in writing and maintaining claims made policies is also essential.

Key responsibilities
  • Product Design and Management
    • End-to-end product design, implementation, and management of medical indemnity insurance products
    • Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure alignment in coverage and direction across the organization
  • Change Management
    • Review opportunities for new products and recommend changes to existing ones
    • Develop business cases supporting new product concepts incorporating member/customer perspective
  • Stakeholder Management
    • Build and maintain relationships across the organization
    • Provide training and support to stakeholders on product-related matters
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Previous demonstrated experience in insurance or a related field in a technical role such as underwriting, broking, product or legal
  • Proven success in writing and maintaining claims made policies
  • Strong change management experience with excellent stakeholder and relationship management skills
  • Demonstrated understanding of a legal or compliance environment within insurance field
  • Ability to develop business cases supporting new product concepts incorporating member/customer perspective
