Project Risk Specialist

Georgiou Group is seeking a highly skilled Project Risk Specialist to join our team in Brisbane. As a key member of our civil engineering team, you will play a pivotal role in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks associated with construction projects.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will possess a strong background in civil engineering principles and risk management techniques. They will utilise their expertise to ensure project success by minimizing potential hazards, financial losses, and delays.
- Conduct thorough assessments of potential risks associated with civil construction projects.
- Utilise quantitative and qualitative methods to analyse the likelihood and impact of identified risks on project objectives, schedule, and budget.
- Develop comprehensive risk mitigation strategies and action plans to address identified risks, collaborating closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders.
- Implement proactive measures to monitor project risk throughout the construction lifecycle, including regular progress reviews, site inspections, and risk reassessments.
What You'll Bring:
- A Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or mechanical engineering.
- In-depth knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction methodologies, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to assess complex situations and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
