We are seeking an experienced Risk Management Specialist to join our team at Davidson. Key Responsibilities:- Communicate Risk Policies and Procedures: Develop and communicate risk policies, processes, and procedures for the department's PMO and programs/projects.
- Ensure Risk and Compliance: Ensure risk and compliance for the program of projects is adhered to for successful consistency and quality assurance.
- Provide Risk Support: Provide hands-on support for development of risk identification, mitigation, and actioning treatments that involve market, finance, contract, project, and operational risks, assuring that controls are operating effectively.
- Perform Risk Assessments: Perform a risk assessment by analyzing current risks and identifying potential risks that have the potential to occur if not mitigated.
- Identify Risk Owners: Identify risk owners and establish the level of risk that the program and projects are willing to take.
- Prepare Risk Management Plans: Prepare a risk management plan and risk project support reviews.
- Report Risks: Report risks in a manner that is tailored to the relevant audience.
- Conduct Compliance Audits: Conduct compliance audits and provide support for risk and issue management, including liaising with internal and external auditors on program and project risk management.
- Build Risk Awareness: Build risk awareness amongst staff by providing support and training to project and program staff.
- Provide Expert Advice: Provide expert-level timely and well-informed advice on matters across all aspects of risk management, in consultation with relevant areas as required.
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Risk Management Specialist who has a strong understanding of program and project risks at an operational level. The ideal candidate will have:
- Demonstrated Experience: Demonstrated experience understanding of program and project risks at an operational level.
- Analytical Skills: Analytical skills and an eye for detail.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Good stakeholder engagement skills.
- Risk Management: High standard of risk management and review.
- Compliance Management: Good understanding of risk and compliance management and escalation processes.
- Financial Management: Good knowledge of Financial Management and Project Management (FMPM) project risk management policy, processes, and procedures.
We offer a competitive hourly rate of $91.93 to $97.14 per hour, plus superannuation. This is a full-time contract position, Monday to Friday, with a possible extension.
