Physiotherapy Specialist

The Albatross Health Centre is a multi-disciplinary team providing primary medical, aviation medical, dental, mental health, physiotherapy, nursing and pharmaceutical services to ADF personnel.

As a physiotherapist, you will work closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality health services to patients. Your expertise in physiotherapy assessments, treatments and rehabilitative services will be invaluable to the team.

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Current registration as a Physiotherapist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Minimum of 2 years full-time post graduate musculoskeletal experience within the last 5 years in an accredited physiotherapy environment.
  • Recent participation in Continuous Professional Development (CPD) activities in accordance with AHPRA.
  • Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID009) certification.
About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to provide physiotherapy services to Defence Force Personnel at the Albatross Health Centre.

You will be responsible for delivering evidence-based physiotherapy assessments, treatments and rehabilitative services to patients, including providing direction on rehabilitation programs, splinting/plastering/fitting of orthoses or other devices, use of electrotherapy modalities or hydrotherapy pools where required.
