Exercise Physiologist Role

We are seeking an experienced Exercise Physiologist to join our multidisciplinary team in the Shoalhaven Cardiac Rehabilitation and Heart Failure Service. In this vital role, you will deliver specialist assessments, tailored exercise programs, and health education to support patients with cardiac conditions and complex comorbidities.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough patient assessments to identify their physical activity needs and develop personalized exercise plans
  • Providing health education and promoting lifestyle changes to improve physical and mental wellbeing
  • Collaborating with patients and their support networks to facilitate behaviour change
  • Contributing to high-quality, evidence-based care and driving positive health outcomes
  • Supporting clinical education and professional development within the service

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Tertiary qualifications in an exercise science related field with eligibility for accreditation as an exercise physiologist or current physiotherapy registration
  • Post graduate experience managing the physical activity needs and behaviours of people attending heart failure and cardiac rehabilitation services
  • A valid NSW drivers licence and ability to work independently
