About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Chef to join our team in a 96 bed Residential Aged Care home based at Little Mountain on the Sunshine Coast.

This is a permanent part-time role that will see you working within our kitchen assisting with food handling, food preparation and basic cooking duties as well maintaining a clean kitchen environment and record keeping.

About You

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • A Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or other relevant trade qualification;
  • Proven experience in commercial food preparation and bulk cooking;
  • A strong knowledge of safe food hygiene practices and kitchen safety;
  • Availability to work Monday to Friday 6am til 2pm;
  • A current Police Check and Blue Card (or willingness to obtain one);
  • Valid Australian Work Rights.
