Kitchen Hand - Casual

**About the Role**

HillView Care is seeking a **Casual Kitchen Hand** to join our hospitality team at our Merrimac and Ashmore residences. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, supporting meal preparation, and ensuring a clean and hygienic kitchen. As a **Kitchen Hand**, you will play an important role in delivering nutritious meals that enhance the wellbeing of our aged care residents.

**What You'll Be Doing**:

- Assisting with food preparation and meal service
- Washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and dining areas
- Following food safety regulations and infection control procedures
- Assisting the kitchen team with general duties as required

**What We're Looking For**:

- Previous experience in a kitchen, aged care, or hospitality setting (preferred but not essential)
- A strong work ethic and ability to work efficiently in a team environment
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices (or willingness to learn)
- Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks in a timely manner
- **The right to work in Australia**:

- **Availability for flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays**
