Job Details:
Routes: Local runs around Adelaide
Locations: Based out of Gillman Depot
Hours: Both AM & PM shifts available
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate A-Double Pneumatic Tanker combinations safely and efficiently.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle roadworthiness and compliance.
- Maintain adherence to schedules and ensure timely pick-up and delivery of freight.
- Accurately complete electronic reporting systems and other required documentation.
- Comply with company/site policies, state and national transport regulations, and laws related to Fatigue Management and Chain of Responsibility.
- Ensure secure transportation of freight by adhering to load restraint guidelines.
Requirements:
- A valid MC Licence with minimum 2 years' recent Australian driving experience.
- Experience with tautliners, flatbeds, retractable or container trailers.
- Sound knowledge of regional areas or interstate routes.
- Provide a full 5-year demerit point history report.
- Complete Visy Practical Driver Assessment.
- Excellent communication, time management skills, and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
- A comprehensive understanding of road, fatigue, and load restraint laws.
- BFM Certification – or willingness to obtain.
- Pride in the presentation and maintenance of trucks and equipment.
