We are seeking a highly skilled Splunk Technical Consultant to join our team at JDSU Australia Pty Ltd. in Melbourne. As a key member of our practice, you will play a crucial role in helping our clients enhance their business acumen in the dynamic realm of consulting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Clients: Work closely with clients to understand their business requirements, goals, and technical needs related to Monitoring and Observability.
  • Design and Implement Monitoring Strategies: Utilize your proficiency in Splunk to design and implement end-to-end Monitoring and Observability strategies, including data collection, analysis, visualisation, and alerting.
  • Configure and Customize Splunk: Configure and customise Splunk to meet clients' specific monitoring requirements, ensuring comprehensive visibility into their technology stack and application performance.
  • Develop Intuitive Dashboards: Develop intuitive and informative dashboards and reports, enabling stakeholders to gain actionable insights from the collected data.
  • Implement Alerting Mechanisms: Implement alerting mechanisms and proactive monitoring techniques to identify and address potential issues before they impact the system.
  • Provide Expert Guidance: Provide expert guidance, training, and support to clients, enabling them to effectively utilise Splunk's Monitoring and Observability features and maximise its potential.
Requirements
  • Proven Experience: Proven experience in consulting roles specialising in Monitoring and Observability platforms, with a strong understanding of industry best practices.
  • Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in configuring, deploying, and managing Monitoring and Observability platforms.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to extract meaningful insights from data and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients and convey technical concepts clearly.
