Job Overview

The Associate Director, Learning and Teaching position plays a pivotal role in driving education for the mental health workforce.

This senior leadership position is responsible for developing and implementing key strategies to enhance the clinical capability of the mental health workforce, ultimately delivering great patient outcomes. The role collaborates with stakeholders to optimize clinical standards, mitigate clinical risk, support professional standards, and promote and enhance education and research within the clinical program area.

The successful candidate will work according to a Learning and Teaching philosophy that promotes training, education, research, and evidence-based knowledge translation in a positive workplace culture.

In this capacity, you will lead a team to plan, implement, deliver, and evaluate learning programs aligned with the strategic objectives of the organization. You will also represent the organization in state-wide projects and contribute to the progress of mental health nursing education at a state-wide level.

Main Responsibilities:

- Current registration with AHPRA
- Post Graduate qualification in mental health nursing
