Job Role: Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead our aircraft maintenance team. As a Line Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance of our fleet, ensuring compliance with engineering procedures and certification requirements.

The successful candidate will have experience in airline operations, with a proven track record of managing close-knit teams and working unsupervised. They will also possess excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire their team members.

The role involves coordinating manpower, equipment, tooling, data, and aeronautical products for timely maintenance completion. The successful candidate will also be responsible for implementing productivity and efficiency gains and managing preventative maintenance/service programs for ground support equipment.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a flexible attitude, be able to manage high workload environments, and adhere to deadlines. You will also need to have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with engineering procedures and certification requirements as identified in the maintenance organisation manual and civil aviation regulations.
  • Maintain engineering infrastructure necessary to meet R.P.T. timetable commitments.
  • Deliver general support for RPT network operations and Rex group engineering.
  • Provide proactive leadership at Melbourne engineering base and participate in broader engineering leadership.
  • Monitor and control costs associated with aircraft maintenance.
  • Manage engineering staff and review planned maintenance activities.
  • Coordinate manpower, equipment, tooling, data, and aeronautical products for timely maintenance completion.
  • Implement productivity and efficiency gains and manage preventative maintenance/service programs for ground support equipment.
