Health, Safety and Environmental Support Specialist

As a Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) support specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring our HSE department meets its performance objectives and supports the business in all aspects of health, safety, and the environment. You will work closely with the Head of HSE, HSE Manager, Australia, and the HSE team members to provide administrative support.
You will be responsible for answering the HSE phone line, directing any queries to relevant team members, and liaising with managers and contractor companies. Your tasks will include adding contractors and new starters to the Learning Management System (LMS), checking induction completion status, printing and distributing on-water vessel cards and confined space entry cards.
You will also assist in the management of the HSE Management System, maintaining and updating HSE documentation, including policies, procedures, and records. Additionally, you will provide administrative support with the completion of injury management paperwork, return-to-work plans, employee letters, and forms.
Required Skills / Experience / Attributes:- Prior administration experience is required.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Interpersonal skills to enable relationships with peers and colleagues.
- Ability to manage competing priorities.
- A proactive, can-do attitude and ability to hit the ground running.
