Job Title: Strategy, Design and Evaluation Leader

  • We are seeking a motivated and experienced leader to fill the role of Team Leader in our international policing efforts.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in developing people, managing change and influencing behaviours that lead to a supportive culture. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Main Responsibilities:

">
  1. Lead the delivery of strategy, design and evaluation processes that shape our police diplomacy efforts.
  2. Develop proposed courses of action within the forward presence to inform our IC's police diplomacy efforts.
  3. Design international programs and projects aimed at maximising police diplomacy efforts.
  4. Appraise and evaluate the effectiveness of international activities, including capacity development programs and policing partnerships.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Current or emerging leaders who are good cultural fits.
  • Strong understanding of the Australian Government foreign policy objectives and our role in policing.
  • Experience leading and delivering evaluation processes for complex programs.
  • Interpersonal, analytical, and writing skills to distil complex narratives into easily understood outputs.
  • Ability to represent our interests in culturally and politically sensitive environments.
