About the Role

  • As a seasoned professional, you will play a key role in delivering overall relationship management that enables you to respond to clients' needs and identify new business opportunities.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Cultivate and own relationships with client Treasury and Senior Executives to deliver capital, transactional and risk management solutions.
  • Develop expertise in the sector and provide unique insights into market and industry conditions to identify and originate viable transactions, structuring and business improvement opportunities.
  • Lead and coordinate with internal business partners within the bank to review and sign off on credit submissions and documentation on deals.
  • Identify and actively manage the full spectrum of risks associated with the origination and ongoing management of clients.
  • Support the development of new innovative product ideas in conjunction with internal and external advisers to enable the team to offer acceptable outcomes to the client base.
  • Provide leadership and development to junior bankers.

About You

  • You have proven experience in engaging and building credibility and strong client relationships and leveraging internal relationships to deliver against revenue and client satisfaction targets.
  • You are familiar across product capabilities including corporate finance, debt capital markets, global markets and risk management, cash management and payments and securitisation. Direct exposure to NBFI coverage would be highly desirable.
  • You possess demonstrable credit risk, analytical and presentation skills necessary to build and deliver complex credit proposals on structured transactions and prepare exceptional client presentations.
  • You have a background in Institutional banking with an acute understanding of key drivers affecting the industry.
  • You hold a strong academic background with tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Engineering, Finance or Law.
